My Mission – TO PROVIDE REAL ESTATE SERVICE BEYOND YOUR EXPECTATIONS !!!!!

My Mission – TO PROVIDE REAL ESTATE SERVICE BEYOND YOUR EXPECTATIONS !!!!!

At a time when I was the Broker/Manager of a Real Estate office in Naperville, Il. – I did business with a local Family Owned Printing Company. Their work was perfection and on time! I gladly referred others to them! Our terrific business relationship also developed into a warm lifelong family friendship too!

Soon, they decided to sell their home in Glendale Heights, Il. and purchase a home closer to their business location. They contacted me and my Realtor Match-Making Skills began. First, the process of marketing their home was reviewed. A humorous moment came as we walked thru their home and I made suggestions to enhance “showings”.  I explained to both teenage daughters that they needed to” de-clutter” their bedrooms! We’ve all had fun, over the years, laughing at my brutal honesty! The clients continued to work hard in their printing business and I worked hard handling all details thru my Marketing/ Follow-up plan. Within a short time, the family successfully moved into their “new construction” home in Naperville, Il.

When the oldest daughter got married, (yes-she was one of the teenage girls that I told to “de-clutter”), she and her terrific husband began looking for their first home. We reviewed their list of priorities. Our “time line” was not rushed. I initiated my automated search thru our MLS System. They were sent by email, all listings meeting their criteria of area, price range, and new listings. This enabled them to see, via computer, pictures of the homes available and allowed them to eliminate those they did not want to see. They were so very excited when we found “their home”! Shortly they received the fully approved mortgage, closed on the Sale, and moved into their beautiful home! A Joyous Goal Accomplished!!

Short years later, I received a call from the dynamic younger daughter, (Yes – she was the other teenager I told to “de-clutter”). We met for dinner and I listened!! She is full of energy, works a very physically demanding job, and loves it! Her priorities were basic: didn’t care about a large home, preferred open space, and a small yard to plant flowers. She “qualified” and could afford more but her goal was simple! She wanted a comfortable home to return to after work where she could totally relax and rest. We reviewed my Custom Buyer’s Presentation making her aware of what to expect in the home buying process. It didn’t take long to walk into the “one home” that made her eyes sparkle!! We negotiated an agreement, she knew what to expect, and I kept her informed of all follow-up. Another Joyous Goal Accomplished!!

My Profession is my Passion!

Real Estate is my Profession and my Passion! During many years as a Real Estate Broker, I have found that I Love Helping People! My client’s goals become personal. A Buyer or a Seller has many steps to accomplish, and I love handling the details and guiding thru to a successful closing!

One such experience was meeting a wonderful young couple who wanted to sell their home and buy a larger home with a nice yard. They were starting their family. The goal was to be in a new home before their baby was born!!

We got to work immediately!  My detailed Free Home Market Analysis provided facts regarding home sales and trends in their neighborhood. A competitive listing price was established. I made some suggestions that would “stage” their home for enhanced showings. The home was on the Market that day! Implementation of my Full Marketing Plan began immediately including: 1) Input to Multiple Listing Service 2) taking many complimenting pictures 3) all advertising prepared 4) Email “blasts” to area agents 5) detailed Home Feature Sheets with pictures (to place in home) 6) Sign installation, and much more! They got their home ready to be shown and We Had Everything In Motion!!
It was time to begin looking for their future home!

Being educated to what the market offered in their price range and preferred area would save us time later.
An offer came in for their home! We negotiated and reached agreement! I provided their attorney with copies of contract, inspections, pre-approvals etc.
We went Shopping! There were 4-5 homes new to the market and we re-visited 3 homes we had seen previously. We wrote an offer, negotiated and reached agreement. They began packing and I met their Home Inspector, delivered copies of everything to their attorney and lender, and monitored the follow-up process on both transactions.
Within 50 days of contracts, we “Closed” on both homes. They had help with the move------ and 5 Days Later Katrina WAS BORN!
Since then, I was asked to help them sell that home and purchase an even larger home on an acre of land. Additionally, I’ve had the pleasure of working with other families they have referred to me!

I consider a Real Estate Agent’s role is that of a “facilitator”, going from Point A to Point B. My business has been built by referrals from satisfied clients.
